using Parallella to utilise Spare PC capacity

Hi All

Don't know if this is a good idea or not....

If a PCIe version appears later (I Hope!!!!) and it still has the Zynq SOC then why not set the parallella up as a Cloud Computing Node (Using the local GbE [or even 2 as the SOC supports it] for the interconnect) and also using spare capacity on the host PC (GPU, CPU, Storage,Etc) - You add a few watts power footprint to your PC's and open up its full capability to the network

Where security is a problem then you could just turn the PC into a Thin Client (or integrate a hypervisor for a complete local user OS)

The Parallella can even be used as a NIC for the PC so no extra cables in the building required.......

Drivers/Software potentially requiring development: Host OS Storage Access, Host Service to handle Local CPU processes and data transfer between them and Parallella, GPU/Parallella Interface, Network Driver)

Any thoughts?
