Parallella radar.

Just spotted this Arduino powered radar project:

Now I'm wondering about the possibilities of a similar project but with Parallella at its heart

Sounds nice, but I would think parallella is a little overkill for something like that. I might be wrong, though.

Well, there is obviously a world of difference between Arduino and Parallella, and you wouldn't just swap the former for the latter and have it perform exactly the same task. I was thinking rather what extra could be done with Parallella.

Perhaps passive radar would be a more fun project. I seem to recall that people were working on building this with GNU Radio...

Umm, a pasive system, where the signal to noise ratio is trickier, does indeed sound like a good project for parallella.
