Microserver Setup

I have 2 micorsevers which I had not used in 8 months because of a lack of time. I decided to update to ParaUbuntu 15.04 so I loaded the OS onto both SD cards. I thought I would use the quick start guide to get connected and running again which is what I did the first time. If I remember correctly in one of the guides I used back in the early spring of this year stated how to connect and logon using a microserver. All the guides I find now assume there is a display attached. I connected the microserver to my ethernet cable but my router is unable to detect the IP address. Can anyone give me instructions or point me to instructions for the microserver? It sure wasn't this difficult the first time..... Thanks in advance for your help.

I found the problem. I had a corrupted image file. I downloaded the headerless file a second time and reburned the SD cards. It booted fine and I was able to find the IP address using my router.
