Disk Storage

Postby sapper » Tue May 28, 2013 8:09 pm

I know this is a long shot, but I thought I would at least ask. I saw this board in a new article and love what I see so far. I have a Raspberry Pi and as much as I love it, its just not powerful enough for me. I've looked at a few other SoC systems as well but this one seems to take the cake. Are there any plans in the future to add SATA support? I'd like to see the ability to connect a HDD or SSD that is bootable from that drive instead of an SD card which has terrible speeds compared to the larger brothers. I have so many plans I'd like to work on that this board can be used in, but the lack of storage space / speed is the only thing that's stopping everything. I'm sure other people would love to attach a bootable HDD / SSD as well and would be willing to pay a bit more for it.

Has this ever been tabled before?
