Parallella Web Site Anomaly?

Hi, sorry, info only, your web site http://www.parallella.org appears to have some problems/anomalies when accessed via windows machines using IE 8? The site simply fails to load and likely heads for a time-out or partially loads images and then produces similar anomalous effects? However, http://forums.parallella.org appears to load without any problems? This is likely not a problem for most, but the network I periodically use limits me to this combination of products. I've asked nw people here xcheck to ensure it is not some odd local problem but it may be more general? No response required.
