requesting new algorithms forum

maths is like cooking: you take a recipe and realize that most of the needed ingredients are simply not available to you. so instead of going to the shop, you just alter the recipe a bit...
for parallel programming there are many recipes. whole books are filled with them. for example recently there was a posting with a link to some pdf that described something that cannot be found in any book. similarily it would be nice to collect a summary of each algorithm that is useful on parallella. even if parallella wouldn't be a success at all, such a forum could definitely become a popular archive for what people have invented so far.
