No, that won't work.

I have the USB port connected to a powered hub, which in turn is connected to a mouse and keyboard. On power up, both mouse/keyboard work fine. Both keyboard/mouse would not work on reboot most of the time. Any solutions?

* Failure mode (sometimes or always?) => about 90 % of time ?
* Headless/hdmi configuration => hdmi kernel/gpioses but without using a hdmi cable (ssh)
* FPGA/Linux/Ubuntu version being used => parallella_e16_hdmi_gpiose_7010.bit.bin, kernel-hdmi-default, ubuntu-14.04-140611.img
* Fan used? => Yes
* SKU# => P1601-DK02
* Power supply used => Mean Well 5V/3A

Hi,

RS sent me a new board that I received today : it doesn't work better ...
SN of the first board : 0011025
SN of the new board : 0013384

Had also problems with my USB connections to a keyboard and wireless mouse.

At first I used an activ hub from Konig brand. But no way to connect to these USB gears. Keyboard did not light up. Nothing showed up in LSUSB.

After replacing the Konig hub for a Belkin 4-port Powered Mobile Hub (no further typ indication on the casing) the problems with the USB connections are gone.

Now with this small Belkin hub everything runs fine. (data transfer of up to 480 Mbps on specification on the carton box.)
