Accessing GPIO pins via linux

Postby dquick » Wed Jun 29, 2016 10:12 am

Hey,

I got some questions regarding assigning the gpio pins from linux. I found several posts in the forum regarding that topic:

viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3667

and

http://www.parallella.org/forums/viewto ... 191&p=6103

At first I encountered the same problems which are described in the first topic, after going down to the older version that worked fine for me.
My questions now are:
What is the correct pin mapping between the exported linux pins (eg. 54 or 917) and the Zynq gpio pins GPIO0_N - GPIO23_P etc.? What is the magic happening behind those linux files?

I got a breakout pin on GPIO0_N (soldered manually) and tried several pin mappings (pin 54, 0, 1, etc.) but none of them worked out.
And I have the parallella desktop board with the Zynq 7010.

Would be great if anybody could explain this to me since I havn't found any documentation about this topic.

Regards,
Daniel
